The CSCC Special Saloons + Modsports series

Mallory Park Video Selection

With a series record entry of 30 plus 1 reserve the qualifying was a busy process. To avoid putting a strain on their racing clutches several of the cars were pushed into the sound check area .

Mallory Park continues to be a spectators delight. With its excellent views and close proximity to the track the sensation of speed the cars are travelling is more acutely felt here than at some of the larger circuits.

The largest field of cars so far in a CSCC SpecialSaloons + Modsports race made for a great spectacle as they roared down into Gerard`s Bend for the first time. Pole man Paul Sibley in the red Elan wasnt able to hold back the charge from Mark Ticehurst in the black Porsche going into the first corner.

The hairpin bend at Mallory Park , called Shaw`s Hairpin must be one the best places in the UK to spectate a motor race . This is race 2 seen frm that location , the field bunched even more than usual by an early pace car period.

Race 3 came at the end of a long  and what turned out to be a very hot afternoon. The initial big field of 30 cars had been reduced by then but the Porsche of Mark Ticehurst kept the pace on to wins his 3rd of the day.
