SERIES STARTS :

One of the stars of the Silverstone show on its debut in 2017. I had chance to talk about the car with its builder John Plant and the car is a real old school home built special . The chassis is part 1980s Kougar and part self built and took 4 years to build. John loves old cars and used the style of the 1950s Allard J2 race cars as inspiration. All the parts are old school too and the finish is deliberatly kept genuine, its a bit scruffy in parts but the look works well . The engine is a Chevy big block that rumbles beautifully. Grandson James handles the beast with great verve ,no traction control here ,its all good old fashioned handling. James took the green beast to 5th overall in both races on its series debut.
