Donington preview for Saturday 9th
The club are delighted to announce that Dave is also set to make his CSCC debut in the Special Saloons and Modsports in his Ford Sierra RS on saturday.
DAVE BRODIE - the legendary '70's saloon car racer is the special guest for the day. For many enthusiats of his era he needs little introduction but Brode enjoyed so many wins in his black Escort dubbed 'Run Baby Run' , going into Modsports with the Gold Seal and VRM Lotus Elans and then the wide-arched Capri mark 2 Supersaloon amongst the many cars raced over a long career.
Brode has so many great motorsport stories his Autbiography gets bigger on each reprint so look out for him for a friendly, inform chat on the day.

Having made his series debut at Silverstone Clive Anderson brings his immaculate BMW V8 turbo to Donington.
Father and son team Andy and Chris Southcott both tasted victory in races at Croft in their respective MG Midget-Vauxhalls and will be amongst the Donington front runners. Pictured here with Mike Johnston who built both cars.
The beautifully built Morris Minor -Chevy V8 of Craig Percy has become a series regualr and one of the poster cars of the series . First raced in the series by its constructor Chris Isaac.
Representing the Thundersaloon community this saturday is the Peugeot 309 Cosworth turbo of brothers Ricky Parker-Morris and Danny Morris ,pictured here next to Baby Bertha at a previous series race waiting on the Melbourne loop prior to starting the formation lap.
