THE CAR :

With a spaceframe chassis ,clothed in a replica Reliant Kitten body and with a disproportionatley large engine this car is right up there in the very spirit of `Special Saloons` racing. It uses a Graham Nash built Rover V8 , Jaguar brakes and Lotus ZF gearbox.

Current owner/driver Si Frowen acquired this wonderful machine in 2010. It was originally built by Neil Walker in 1984 , bought in 1990 and raced regularly by Brian Scholey in the BARC NW Sports/Saloons until 1997 ( placed 2nd in Class A behind Tony Sugden in 1994 ) and eventually finishing up in as a Sprint/Hilclimb car in Scotland.

In August 2015 the Kitten went to its new owner Peter Winstone.
