Special Saloons and Modsports debut on the Silverstone International Circuit this sunday
The jewel in British motorsports crown ,the fantastic new pit complex at Silverstone plays host to the CSCC this sunday . The club are delighted to bring another huge entry of cars to a national club event and for their first time on the Interntional circuit instead of the usual National circuit . The graphic below highlights the International circuit
Richard Wheeler from Chelmsford is already a CSCC regular competitor both in his Ford Fiesta in the Tin Tops including a win at Thruxton last month and also in his yellow Lotus Elan but is set to make his debut in his Nissan Skyline R32.
Clive Anderson from Prism Motorsport has entered his BMW E30 with twin-turbo V8. The yellow car has been raced for a few years but now has a wider body kit fitted. Anderson had a previous built a very wide bodied Ford Cortina twin-turbo featured in Max Power magazine in 1993.
Another interesting new name on the entry is Richard Siffleet and his Lancia 037 turbo. The does has a rally livery similar to the photo above. The 037 of course is a Group B Rally icon .
John Plant has raced in Sports Racing/GT ,and 750MC Kit cars with his Kougar-based Allard J2 V8 racer. The 480bhp car brings 50's styling and lots of character to the list in 'Taster' class.

Keep in touch with Steven Moss and The Green E on Facebook by liking the Green E page :
Announced on wednesday 'Sadly the Green E has withdrawn from Silverstone this sunday'. Steven Moss and his crew had been working tirelessly to repair the car after its big shunt at Cadwell 10 days ago but it has become clear the car wont be ready in time. This popular car had just had its new paint on its bonnet too before its tripple 360 spins along the Cadwell barriers caused alot of damage during a BARC race. 'Driver error was to blame' said a philosphical Moss after getting 2 wheels onto the wet grass. Moss and his Anglia known as the 'Green E ' with 30 series starts should be back for Croft in July .

Chris Southcott returns with his uprated MG Midget.
Having missed the Thruxton round young Chris Southcott from Southampton returns to the series in his MG Midget Modsport car.
Already a very rapid combination Chris has uprated his car with a 2.3 Vauxhall 'red top' engine purchesd in the winter from fellow competitior Steven Moss.
This moves Chris into class B for over 2-litre cars and if not already so before makes him a likely race winner.
Father Andy Southcott is also entered in his own Midget in class C.
